TLDR: don’t miss out on the opportunity to love a Lilah doodle!
We recommend Lilah Doodles to everyone we know. We had an unusually long wait to get our puppy, but Nicohl was transparent and so helpful throughout the whole process. We are so happy we waited for a Lilah Doodle and didn’t impatiently opt for another breeder who had a ton of dogs available - there’s a reason that Nicohl has a waitlist! She carefully plans litters with a focus on temperament and health, and as a result the puppies she raises have the sweetest personalities and are SO cute too.
Loving guardian families take care of the dog moms when they’re not with Nicohl, and Nicohl cares for all the puppies inside her own home until they go to their forever families.
We opted to have our puppy, Aurora from Jade and Parker (now named Poppy), stay with Nicohl for 8 extra weeks of training before we got her. While it was a big investment, it was the best decision we’ve made. Poppy came home to us potty trained and sleeping through the night. She knew sit, down, place and recall, and had been socialized with Nicohl’s older dogs. She also had her DHPP vaccines completed, which made it much easier to bring a puppy home to a city.
Poppy is sweet and loving, but also independent, happy to play and entertain herself, and we owe that all to Nicohl’s pairing of Jade with Parker, and her eight weeks of training!

We welcomed Teddy( Kirk- Bailey + Boston) on December 20th 2024 to our family!
Although it’s only been a few weeks, we can see he is extremely smart, eager to please & has adjusted so well to everyday life with two kiddos( ages 7&10)
We were on a list for a litter in March to go home & when Kirk became available, I immediately jumped! We are hoping to train him as a therapy & service dog.
Nicohl has been incredible to work with from start to finish- I hate to say “finish”because she is still answering every single question I ask. She truly loves & cares for these babies from the moment they are born! I could go on and on.
Our vet was extremely pleased with how friendly and adjusted Teddy was at his first visit. He was sent home to us from Nicohl on a schedule that we have tried to follow closely for continued success. A sweet baby from Lilah Australian Labradoodles will be the most incredible addition to any family!

I started my search after losing my “soul” dog ultimately due to bad breeding & devastatingly only 4 weeks after bringing home his new Goldendoodle sister, Remi. In my research I was looking at many factors but HEALTH was priority. Had 3 breeds narrowed down but I kept going back to Lilah’s page. Her program was top notch! I could write a 2-page review of the specifics that sold me but the final confirmation for me was DELILAH. Delilah had my heart and now I can’t imagine what I’d do without my, “Squirrel huntin, blankie suckin, snugglin mama’s boy”, Rhett. He was our perfect match. Lilah is family & Nicohl keeps her relationships with her pup’s families which is unheard of in my experience. Forever grateful.

RUBY- our spitfire girl ( Rory of Bailey & Boston), lovingly and expertly bred and raised by Nicohl. Nicohl answered all my initial questions and concerns ( had an ALD prior for over 15 years , breeder retired, and blessed to be introduced to Nicohl). We received weekly updates from birth in October to arrival here in December ( in Massachusetts accompanied by a wonderful flight nanny ). This is a family , no doubt whatsoever that this is a passion with Nicohl; these pups are raised in her home with unconditional love for each of them. Having Goose around to help train Fisher was a big help but also a testament to how well trained and mannered he was. We wanted foremost a healthy dog. We were able to watch her testing, early milestones, and vet visits. We actually saw our puppy Bleau (aka Cheyenne) being born!! We watched her be stimulated and develop through sound exposure, training, and love until she came home to our family. I found Nicohl of Lilah Australian Labradoodles through an Instagram friend. Nicohl is a treasure. She is patient and kind and raises puppies like she plans to keep every single one. I fell in love with Mama Bailey on Instagram, and knew that one of her puppies would be perfect. The wait was worth it. Our boy is almost 7 month old Moe of the infamous Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe litter. Nicohl was patient with me, answered all my questions, and helped me figure out how to survive the puppy blues during the early weeks. These days thanks to wilddogstraining Moe is the prince of PLACE, but knows and practices all the other basic commands and a few extras at the same level. We love Moe!

In a world of harmful breeding practices, Nicohl shines as an ethical breeder. She intentionally designs her litters for the best possible health and temperament outcomes, all while prioritizing the health and wellbeing of the parents. Even before we met our puppy, we knew that we were investing in a person who loved and took care of her dogs as much as we planned to.
After being forced to defer our original litter reservation due to life circumstances, we were brought off the wait list for Rowan and Logan’s first litter. Nicohl’s temperament testing matched us with Sadie, and my god, her process works: at five months old, she has integrated herself into our lives and lifestyle beautifully, bringing us endless love, joy, and laughs.
Sadie (now Sancha) came to us with a foundation that set us all up for training success. Right off the plane, she was going to the bathroom outside, feeling safe in her crate, sleeping through the night, and unfazed by all of the noises that come with living in NYC. On top of all that, she was already eager to learn new things. Today, she has a number of new skills under her belt and a continuing interest in training. This has been an incredible asset as we have introduced her to more and more of the world as she grows. Nicohl continues to be an amazing support to us, answering our questions and providing guidance as we train, groom, and take care of our girl.
Sancha is everything we could have ever hoped for: a beautiful, silly girl with the happiest wagging tail we have ever seen. We feel so lucky for stumbling across the Lilah Doodles Instagram page years ago, and make it a point to recommend her to anyone who is considering bringing a puppy into their family.
